There are many studies about the food topic, what to eat and not to eat.

Looking at what kinds of food people were eating regularly, including how much meat, nuts, grains, and veggies were on their plates. Some people eat a lot and not necessary consider healthy and some extremely healthy. Although some eat the same but they live shorter or are less healthy than others. Perhaps they consume less amount of meat for example or more nuts? Why is that we ask?

The researchers found through many years of studying and researching that people between the ages of 25 and 44 who ate more protein from meats increased their risk of developing deadly heart disease and more likely will live shorter, while those who consumed more nuts and seeds instead helped their hearts, so they meaning to live longer.

Proteins, which are made up of long chains of amino acids, help protect the body from viruses, bacteria. Also they provide power for our cells, helping us grow and stay healthy.

What would dietitians think? Studying proving that may be something extra-special and helpful about the protein that we can get from nuts. Walnuts have tons of omega-3 fatty acids, which are great for heart health while hazelnuts, pecans, and almonds are great choices as well to keep us fit.

Plus, nuts eaten whole have a good amount of fiber in them, to help keep us full for hours. Why do not we eat less protein, and getting more of it from nuts, which also offer a plethora of other important nutrients. According to the North American Vegetarian Society, “Nuts and seeds are extremely nutrient-dense. We would think we know that so why is we do not eat them enough or at all?

They provide generous amounts of calories, fats, complex carbohydrates, protein, vitamins, minerals and fiber. Minerals such as magnesium, zinc, selenium and copper are important but may be under-consumed in today’s largely processed Western diet, and even in some plant-based diets.

Say YES to nuts and focus on smaller consumption of meat specially when comes to red meat. Is not about healthy living but think about global warming and save the planet by starting from your daily eating routine of keeping healthy.
