About
It began as a bestselling book and is now a global movement, a morning practice benefiting the lives of everyone going through this routine.
How you start your day affects your emotional state and the level of success (as you define it) you experience throughout the day. The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod is a 6-step morning routine using what are called Life S.A.V.E.R.S.: silence, affirmations, visualisation, exercise, reading, and scribing. Let’s have a closer look…
S.A.V.E.R.S
1. Silence and keeping still.
Relax by doing 5-10min of breathwork to start with followed by 20 –30min of meditation. To start with you can sit still in silence playing some meditation music in the background with closed eyes and just be. Let your thoughts flow and try not to focus on any of them.
2. Affirmations
Tell yourself encouraging words to achieve your goals, overcome fears and feel happy. Keep repeating for a week or few weeks the same affirmation for example: ‘’ I have all ingredients for my success’’ or ‘’ I am healthy and fit’’. Keep repeating them many times in a day even 300-400 for a month and you see what will happen. I do practise myself with ‘’I approve of myself’’.
3. Visualisation
Knowing what you want to have or be in your life, first imagine and then feel, observe that feeling, emotions, touch. Focus on how it feels to achieve it. Try to feel how it that would be once you get or be who you want to be or become.
4. Exercise
Do some workout, quick walk, jogging for at least 20min but intense to get your oxygens and blood flowing quicker to the brain improving your circulation and mobility.
5. Reading
Feel yourself with positive thoughts and ideas. Grab a book or listen to audio on some personal development, spirituality, wellbeing. Work on your inner growth.
6. Scribing
Write down your thoughts, what you want to achieve, how do you see yourself in one or 5 years from now. Write what you have already achieved and reflect on it. Write what you are thankful for and what it is you love yourself for; start your journal today.
